Journal Recap for September 2023:

September 1: I got ready, listened to podcasts, and put on the new music Friday playlist. I paid rent, published my blog, and posted pictures from August. I worked in my room. I went to Michael’s and Macey’s during my lunch break. I had lunch. I had a very productive work afternoon. I did journal stuff, posted things I’m looking forward to in September, listened to Fleetwood Mac, downloaded and started reading a book on my Kindle, and then had dinner. Kylie had her cousin over. I had sushi in my room, watched Seinfeld, and went to bed early. September 2: Up, loaded the dishwasher, had breakfast, and watched Stars on Mars. I cleaned up and organized my closet, drawers, and in my night stand. I also cleaned out my backpack. I found some gift cards that have money on them still. I took the trash out, put some documents in my glove box, and cleaned up my trunk. I brought my cooler back up to put that away. I started a load of laundry, showered, and got ready. I put the clothes in the dryer, hung up some shirts, and went to Walmart. I got plates and silverware for tomorrow. I got lunch at Arby’s. I finished Stars on Mars. I went to Trader Joe’s, got an apple crips shaken espresso, and then headed home. Put the flowers in the vase, hung up the eucalyptus in my shower, and put the dishes away. I sat in my bungee chair and read on my Kindle. Journal work and put on Love Is Blind. I started a chatbook. I had dinner and watched Seinfeld. September 3: I left around 10, went to the store, and got breakfast at McDonald’s. I headed up Payson Canyon to my dad’s trailer. People started arriving. We played some dice games, had dinner, chilled around the fire, had desert, and played more games. I accidentally put my grandma’s cobbler in someone else’s truck. I chatted with them to let them know and gave them some cobbler. I went to the trailer after midnight. Keynon and my dad were watching a Clint Eastwood movie. Keynon left. My dad fell asleep on the chair and I woke up because the movie was so loud. Turned it off. My dad went into his bed at some point in the night. September 4: Up around 10 and packed up my car. Rained all night so it was super muddy outside. I brought all of my stuff up, unpacked, showered, took the trash out, got my mail, ate lunch, did journal work, and watched Big Brother and Love Island. Kylie and I then started the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City. We put on Hocus Pocus but we didn’t finish it. I headed to bed. September 5: Got ready and headed into the office. Sarah and I walked over to get a headshot during lunch. I sent out a Slack message to the department about Halloween. Kylie and I watched the premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. We then watched Lisa Barlow on Watch What Happens Live. We then watched The Nun. September 6: I worked in my room. I got Zach Bryan tickets at 10 for Andrea, Dan, Pam, and I. We had our daily stand up. I read for book club, went to Walmart, and had lunch. I moved into the living room to work. I listened to Jonas Brothers and Ed Sheeran. Kylie and I watched The Real Housewives of New York City, I had dinner, and then Drag Race Down Under. I packed for Las Vegas, listened to podcasts, and went to bed. September 7: I listened to podcasts, watered plants, finished packing, and got ready. I went into the office. We had a town hall. Kassidi was here for an interview so I met up with her. We had book club today. I left work at 5 and went to my grandma’s. Parked my car there. Kenzie and Jackie picked me up. We ate dinner at Wendy’s. We stopped a few times and got into our hotel around 11. Shonay and Savannah arrived as well. September 8: We slept in, got ready, and had breakfast at the Excalibur buffet. We rode the monorail and explored the Venetian and Caesar’s Palace. We went to the Coke store. They did the world sampler tray. We got pizza in New York New York. We went back to our hotel to get ready. We sat in the lower bowl straight back from the stage and close to the B stage. Kenzie, Jackie, and I dressed up as the brothers in their Disney Channel Games outfits. We got a lot of compliments. Lawrence opened and then the Jonas Brothers put on a great show. 5 albums. 1 night. We went back on the monorail and watched the fountains at the Bellagio. We went into the Bellagio gardens after. Stopped at CVS, went back to our hotel, and opened up our 3 mystery gifts we got from the Coke store. Shonay took the reusable straws, I took the shoe laces, and Jackie got a portable charger. September 9: Up around 8. I caught up on my journal and listened to music. I stayed back while they went to breakfast. I got ready. We went to the New York hotel. Savannah and Jackie rode the coaster. We then went and had lunch at Gordon Ramsay Burger. We walked down the strip and went into M&M World. Kenzie and I explored the Stranger Things experience. We walked back and chilled. Savannah and Shonay arrived, packed, and left. Ed Sheeran posted that the show was cancelled tonight and is rescheduled for October. Kenzie and I played Mancala. We went back to the Coke store so she could get a shirt for Jackie. We got Raising Cane’s and went back to the hotel. Jackie and her sister was there. We hung out for a bit and then they left. Kenzie and I watched Friends. September 10: I woke up early, got ready, and packed. Kenzie woke up. We chilled for a bit, picked up Jackie, got McDonald’s, and then hit the road. The 49ers won today. I got to my grandma’s around 4. I visited with her for a bit. I headed home. Chatted with Kylie, unpacked, started a load of laundry, showered, and chilled in my room with my phone charging. Listened to music. I cleaned up my phone, photos, emails, apps, etc. I got caught up on my journal and broke out the trip expenses to pay Kenzie. Chilled with Kylie out on the couch. We watched Big Brother and I ordered Chipotle for dinner. I went into my room and watched Seinfeld. September 11: I went into the office. State street was so busy this morning. I stopped at Smith’s after work. I put my laundry away, made my bed, watered plants, and chilled in the living room. We watched Big Brother, I had dinner, The Real Housewives of New York City, and Drag Race Down Under. I listened to music in my room to end the night. September 12: Up, did some cleaning, and headed into the office. Had a very productive day. I left work early, put the dishes away, and put on the VMA’s pre-show. Kylie got home. I had dinner and we watched the VMA’s. Nicki Minaj hosted and Taylor Swift won 9 awards. Loved all of the performances. September 13: I went into the office today. Had lunch at my desk. I bought concert tickets for Amanda, Bre, and I for Reneé Rapp next Thursday. I went to Harmon’s after work, went home, watched The Challenge: USA, made dinner, and Kylie and I watched The Real Housewives of New York City. We played the iPhone message games as well. September 14: I went into work. We had our monthly all hands meeting today. I sent out the first Halloween costume poll. Shae and I went on a walk for my 1-1. Not in a good mood today. I chilled on my bed after work. I went to Macey’s to get stuff for dinner and watched Seinfeld. September 15: I slept in a little, got ready, and started working in my room. I listened to the new music Friday playlist. Brittany brought me my book club book from the office. I had lunch. I finished Building A Story Brand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen by Donald Miller. I went to Amanda and Bre’s after work. Amanda and I picked up Sarah. We ate at P.F. Chang’s and then to Taylor’s Version night at The Depot. September 16: I chilled in bed and got up around 11. I did laundry, journal work, and chilled in the living room. I had lunch, watched Big Brother, and The Challenge: USA. Kylie and I went down to Payson, went to Walmart, got food at Taco Bell, and then to Maddi’s for a movie night. September 17: I got ready and went to Amanda and Bre’s. We drove up to Park City and met Colby, Aubray, and the boys there. They officially asked me to officiate their wedding! We walked around Park Silly and Main Street. We had lunch at Park City Roadhouse Grill. Amanda, Bre, and I headed home. They napped and I chilled in the other room. I went to Harmon’s with Bre. Amanda made us pasta for dinner with some bread we got at the market. We watched Broad City and then I headed home. September 18: Got ready and headed into the office. I watched Big Brother during lunch. I went to Smith’s, watched The Challenge: USA, and then lounged in the living room for the night. I watched 9-1-1, had dinner, and then went into my room and watched Seinfeld. September 19: Had bad heartburn throughout the night. Blah. I went into the office. We went to Redmond Heritage Farm Store for lunch for Shae’s birthday. I stopped at Walmart after work. I watched 9-1-1, made dinner, and then Kylie and I watched The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and Watch What Happens Live. September 20: I worked in my room. I had leftovers for lunch, ironed some shirts, and packed for Las Vegas. I watched When Harry Met Sally. I went to Macey’s after work. Kylie and I watched The Real Housewives of New York City, Watch What Happens Live, and then the premiere of American Horror Story. I cleaned up and went to bed. September 21: I went to work at The Coffee Shop. Brittany met me there and we went to a lunch and learn event at 97th Floor. Drove into the office after. We had cinema club. I got tickets to Olivia Rodrigo for Jaidy, Danielle, Cassidy, and I. I went to Amanda and Bre’s. We got Cubby’s and went to The Union. Danielle met us there. Reneé Rapp was so good. September 22: I got gas in Springville and picked up Shinah. We hit the road toward Las Vegas. We got to the T-Mobile Arena around 3:30. We went to our Airbnb, dropped our stuff off, changed, and went back to the arena to line up with 1iota. We stood in line until they let us in around 6:30. We sat on the floor, center section, back row. We didn’t have to move the whole show. Agnez Mo was the pre-show performance. Ryan Seacrest kicked off the festival as per usual. Lenny Kravitz opened. TLC, Sheryl Crow, Bakar, Lil Durk, Tim McGraw, Miguel, Kane Brown, and Lil Wayne. We stopped at Del Taco, watched Catfish in the Goat Hut, and went to bed. September 23: Up early, back to bed, and then up before 11. Shinah and I got ready. We went to a coffee shop. We went toward Fremont Street and ate at Evel Pie. We went and parked by the arena. We walked into the Stranger Things experience, got water, and then got back into the 1iota line. They sat us on the side of the stage this time, second row. We didn’t have to move from our seats again. Paul Cauthen was the pre-show performance. Tonight’s performers: Public Enemy, Foo Fighters, 30 Seconds to Mars, waved and smiled at Lance Bass and Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Clarkson, Fall Out Boy, and Travis Scott. We went to Jack in the Box, back to our place, watched Reno 911, and went to bed. September 24: We hit the road early, stopped at McDonald’s in Mesquite, stopped in Beaver, and dropped Shinah off around 3:30. I went to my dad’s. I did some journal stuff. Taylor Swift was at the Chief’s game sitting next to Travis Kelce’s mom in their suite. Iconic. Amanda and Bre came over. We kept football and baseball on. We had spaghetti for dinner, played Yahtzee, and then headed home. I unpacked, did laundry, listened to music, did journal, budget, and concert stuff, and went to bed pretty late. September 25: I went into the office. Had an energy drink in the afternoon that gave me a good boost. I sent out the winning Halloween costume theme to the department, the Mattel universe. I went to Macey’s, had dinner, watched Big Brother, and posted concert videos. September 26: I went into the office. I had meetings from 9:30-12. I went to Walmart after work. Kylie and I watched The Real Housewives of New York City, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and Watch What Happens Live. I went into my room and watched Seinfeld. September 27: I went to work at The Coffee Shop. I went to Walmart during my lunch break and got Halloween decorations. I set them up and continued working in the living room. I did some laundry and cleaned my bathroom. I watched Love Is Blind. Kylie and I watched Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Naked Attraction. September 28: I went into the office. I watched the season premiere of The Kardashians. I went to Walmart after work and then home. Kylie and I watched Watch What Happens Live, Dancing With The Stars, American Horror Story, Drag Race UK, and Drag Race Down Under. I pieced together the new music Friday playlist and went to bed. September 29: I went to La Barba Coffee to work. Amanda met me there. We ordered some food and a drink. We went to Harmon’s during lunch and then to her place. Worked from there the rest of the day. Amanda and I chilled on the couch. Bre got home. We ordered Chinese food for dinner. We watched Glee and How It’s Made. I headed home. September 30: Kylie and I got Starbuck’s, went to her nephew’s soccer game, stopped and visited with her dad and grandma, had lunch, and then hung out at Maddie’s. We then all went to Glen Ray’s Cornmaze in Spanish Fork. We met Gaige and Kate. The wind picked up. They gave us a ticket to come another day. Kylie and I went to Smith’s. I took a nap, showered, we hung out in the living room, made dinner, watched Halloween, part of another movie, and headed to bed.
